Boston, renowned as the city of sports, hosts a multitude of prominent professional sports teams, such as the Red Sox (baseball), the Celtics (basketball), the New England Patriots (American football), the New England Revolution (soccer), and the Bruins (ice hockey).
Within this endeavor, our focus is on the NHL team, the BRUINS. Leveraging the synergy of motion design and artificial intelligence (AI), our objective is to craft an impressive video that effectively showcases this esteemed franchise.

2D Logo Animation
BRUINS ANIMATION
We initiated the process by deconstructing the Bruins logo's structure to isolate the letter B, allowing us to reconstruct the word "BRUINS."
Some scale adjustments made throughout the process enhance the impact and dynamism of the logo animation.
BOSTON ANIMATION
Our intention was to create an animation for the word "Boston" utilizing the shape of an ice hockey puck. This led us to choose a morphing technique on the letter "O," transforming it from a perfect circle to the Bebas Neue font by adjusting the letterspacing.
Some scale adjustments made throughout the process enhance the impact and dynamism of the text animation.

To pinpoint the specific sport we are highlighting, we aimed to create a 3D ice hockey puck using Blender, which would serve as the canvas for the National Hockey League (NHL) logo.

In response to the NHL logo appearing on the puck approaching the camera, we sought to generate a 3D Boston Bruins logo with some extrusions.
This element that extend from the camera, impacting a fabric surface.
This fabric acts as a medium, absorbing the logo and causing it to vanish, seamlessly transitioning to the next scene.
Additionally, we generated two variations of the 3D logo—one entirely black and another entirely white. These versions serve as screens that function like mirrors, emphasizing the yellow element that hosts the text "Boston Bruins."

We aimed to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence in this phase of the project. Obtaining the precise player, uniform, and logo on video can be challenging. Hence, we opted to introduce assets featuring a grizzly bear or bruin, entirely generated by Stable Diffusion using ComfyUi. The outcome proved to be quite intriguing.
Furthermore, we ventured into video editing with the incorporation of a ControlNet, resulting in captivating video enhancements. To maintain the recognition of specific players and uniforms , we decided to integrate these graphic elements into comic/manga frames for a unique visual presentation, fortifying the graphic processing.
